The Diocese has sanctioned a new building on the church grounds. It will be raised
the way everything here has been raised since 1879 — by the people who worship in it.
“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it.”

Five needs, one building
The Diocesan authorities have permitted CSI Wesley Church, Secunderabad to proceed with the

What each part is for
01
Renovation of the Parish Hall
The renovated hall will be used during Sunday services, seating up to 1,000 members.
At present the congregation overflows into temporary tents, which is a considerable
inconvenience — particularly through the rainy season. The hall will also be used for
fellowship meetings, the choir, the Women’s Fellowship, and other functions held by the
congregation throughout the year.
02
A spacious hall for the Sunday School
359 children were enrolled at this year’s Vacation Bible School across 24 classes. The
Sunday School has outgrown the rooms it meets in.
03
A parsonage for the pastors
Proper quarters on the church grounds for the presbyters serving this pastorate.
04
A mortal remains hall
A place to keep vigil, so that families of this congregation need not look elsewhere in
the hours after a death.
05
Increased parking
Additional parking within the church grounds, so that Sunday mornings — and weddings,
conferences and funerals — no longer spill onto the surrounding streets. Easier, safer
arrivals for families and senior members alike.
